Overview

The RSPCA Brisbane Animal Care Campus, located at Wacol is a hub of animal welfare and support facilities.

In addition to our Adoption Centre, Brisbane is also home to our head office, which houses our call centre, 1300 ANIMAL (264 625) for animal rescue and animal welfare complaints, the RSPCA Inspectorate, our Education team and our 24/7 Wildlife Hospital.

On campus we also have our 100% owned RSPCA Op Shop and pet store, World for Pets. These stores help raise much-needed funds to support the 40,000+ animals that come into our care each year.

We also have an on-site cafe, serving humane food to all visitors to the Centre. So you can visit our animals waiting for a second chance, and enjoy a bite to eat while you are here!

Do I have to make an appointment to surrender a pet?

We understand that circumstances change which may mean that you need to give up your pet. We ask that you fill out our surrender form so that we can gain as much information as possible about your situation and your pet. Our RSPCA team can then prioritise a surrender appointment based on your needs and our shelter resources and capacity. We try our best to priortise emergency surrender applications.
