What areas do you service?

Why should I use the RSPCA Pets At Rest pet cremation service?

The RSPCA is a community-based charity and all proceeds from RSPCA Pets at Rest are utilised to fund our vital animal welfare services. This includes supporting the over 43,000 animal that turn to us every year for help.

What types of pets can you accommodate for pet cremation?

Our cremation packages and urns are available for all types of pets within the specified weight options listed. For any pets over 60kg please contact the RSPCA Pets at Rest team on 0437 686 999 to discuss your needs.

Is it a door-to-door service?

Yes, we can receive your pet into our care from your home or nominated Veterinary Clinic and return your pet’s ashes and chosen cremation package to you.

Where will my pet be cremated?

Your pet will be cremated at our RSPCA Queensland facilities located at 139 Wacol Station Road, Wacol.

Is my pet cremated individually?

Yes, your pet will be cremated individually. We guarantee the return of your pet’s ashes.

When will I receive my pet’s ashes?

Your pet’s memorial will be returned to your home or nominated Veterinary Clinic, within 14 days.

Are the staff employed by RSPCA?

Yes, all staff are employed by RSPCA Queensland.

How do I order my pet’s memorial package?

You can order your pet’s memorial package via our website or by contacting our friendly RSPCA Pets at Rest staff who can cater for your wishes. You can also request our services via your local veterinary clinic and chat to our team directly on 0437 686 999.

There are a number of pet memorial packages available from RSPCA Pets at Rest, starting from $250.

Do you offer payment plans and how can I make payment?

We can offer payment plans via ZipPay. You can also pay for your cremation package via credit card, applicable debit cards, cash, direct bank deposit. Payment can also be made over the phone. You can pay your balance at any time. Payments can also be made directly to some Veterinary Clinics.

Are optional extras available?

Yes, optional extras are available. These can be added to your cremation service at time of ordering.

Where do the profits go?

100% of RSPCA Pets at Rest profits go toward RSPCA Queensland to help over 43,000 animals in need every year. When you choose RSPCA Pets at Rest, your pet’s memory will continue to live on and help other animals in need in RSPCA care.

What are your office hours?

7.30am to 7.30pm (Monday - Friday), 7.30am to 6:00pm (Saturday), 8.30am to 5pm (Sunday). Public Holidays and After Hours can vary. We know that you may need us at various times of day to help with your pet’s arrangements. Our receiving service is flexible outside our normal operating hours. We are happy to discuss your requirements over the phone.
