Last year RSPCA investigated over 13,000 animal welfare complaints in Queensland.
Living conditions, animal health, insufficient food or water, animal cruelty, abandoned animals and animals left confined or tethered are our most common investigations.
For the quickest response to an animal welfare concern, call our Animal Emergency Hotline 1300 ANIMAL 7am - 7pm.
Our Inspectorate’s focus is assisting the public through pet welfare education - to reduce and prevent animal welfare issues. While many animal welfare complaints made to the RSPCA are resolved through supportive services and education, sadly our Inspectors still investigate shocking cases of animal cruelty and neglect every year.
Report urgent animal welfare issues by calling 1300 ANIMAL, report non-urgent animal welfare complaints online or email animalwelfarecomplaints@rspcaqld.org.au
