RSPCA Queensland is 91% community funded, with just 6% of our income coming from government sources. This means almost everything we do, from rescuing animals in crisis to providing veterinary care and rehoming, depends on the generosity of people like you.

Your donations directly support the care of animals in need across Queensland, including rescue, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts. Funds also support our wildlife hospital, education programs, and community outreach initiatives.

To ensure your generosity has the greatest possible impact, donations are directed to the areas of greatest need. This allows us to respond quickly and effectively wherever support is needed most. If you would like to support a specific program, such as Wildlife, Rescue, or the Pets in Crisis program, please contact us, and we will work with you to accommodate your wishes.

A gift left in your Will can also be directed to specific areas of impact.

Yes, any contribution over $2 is tax deductible in Australia.

Receipts for one-off donations are sent immediately.

Monthly supporters receive an annual consolidated receipt at the end of the financial year.

The purpose of these calls varies, from inviting our supporters to join our monthly giving program, offering the opportunity to purchase RSPCA Lottery tickets, or updating your existing details.

Our tele-fundraising agencies will always identify themselves at the beginning of the call and all calls are recorded for training purposes.
