This year, with new leadership and a shared commitment to collaboration, we strengthened our foundations and grew our initiatives while supporting over 42,000 animals across the state.

It’s been a year of change for RSPCA Queensland as we developed our 2030 strategy in an evolving animal welfare environment. Your support meant 43,990 animals were helped.

Bushfires strike at the heart of our state’s wildlife habitat during a pandemic that impacted our way of operating; RSPCA Queensland had to transform.

Legislation amendments and a new Taskforce established to investigate dog and cockfighting while three RSPCA locations received much-needed upgrades to care for animals.

Together we found animals homes with Pop Up Adoption, Big Adopt Out and Clear the Shelter initiatives. Our supporters also aided Evie, a special pup who suffered terrible abuse.
