Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Opal is a sweet older girl looking for a loving family to call her own. Gentle, affectionate, and people-focused, she would make a wonderful companion and is open to first-time dog owners. Opal may need a little time to settle into a new home, so a patient family willing to let her adjust at her own pace would be ideal.
She would love to live indoors as part of the family, with access to a secure outdoor area. Opal is suitable for families with children of all ages, with younger children encouraged to attend a meet and greet.
Opal has not been tested with cats, but with slow, controlled introductions she may be able to live alongside one. She could also potentially share her home with a calm, social male dog of a smaller size.
A home with secure 5-foot fencing is recommended to keep this lovely girl safe and secure.
