Squire's Story

⚔️ Meet Squire – Your Loyal Young Knight 🏰🐾

Brave, clever, and always ready for an adventure, Squire is a young cattle dog knight searching for a kingdom to call his own. True to his noble breed, he is sharp-minded and eager to learn, already boasting an impressive collection of tricks and a love for mastering new skills. This young squire thrives when given quests that challenge both his mind and body.

When he's not studying the ways of the realm, Squire can often be found perfecting his favourite pastime: a grand game of fetch. He's even learning the honourable art of placing the ball directly into your hand, ready for the next round of fun.

Like any promising knight, Squire will flourish under the guidance of a patient mentor committed to continuing his training. With structure, consistency, and plenty of rewards fit for a champion, he's sure to become a true gentleman of the court.

Squire has previously shared his castle with another dog and would happily welcome a canine companion again, especially one who enjoys both spirited play and peaceful naps after a day's adventures.

This noble pup is also a great admirer of water. A splash in the moat after a game of fetch is his idea of the perfect day!

For the family willing to take him under their banner, Squire promises loyalty, laughter, and endless adventures. If you're looking for a bright and devoted companion to join your kingdom, Squire may be the perfect knight for your round table. 💙⚔️🏰

What should I feed my dog?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my dog?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
