Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi there! My name is Cowboy, and I am the most handsome, sweetest man you'll ever meet! I really don't how I got my name, I guess it's because I'm the size of a small horse! Although I don't know my size, I am the true definition of 'just a baby' and I'll try and crawl into your lap for lots of cuddles and kisses! I am very social with everyone and have made lots of doggie friends here at the shelter! However, when I get a little excited I give everyone boop boops, so I would I just need to learn some boundaries. Since being here at the shelter, my confidenced has flourished; the sounds of gates don't scare me anymore, but I'm still learning everyday to build my confidence. So, I'll just need a little bit of patience, until I get into my new routine. At my new home I would love to have someone home more than not, and would prefer to have older children in the home, as I don't know my size just yet. If you sound like my perfect family, I would love for you to come and meet me!
