Meet Zoe! About Zoe Zoe is a sweet‑natured, affectionate 5‑year‑old Border Collie mix who has found herself in the shelter through no fault of her own. This sudden change has left her feeling a little confused, as she clearly misses her family and daily routine. With her gentle temperament and lovely personality, Zoe is wonderful around people, other dogs, and kids. She thrives on connection, companionship, and being included in everyday life. Personality & Behaviour: Affectionate & Loving Zoe adores being close to her humans and is happiest when she can be part of the family. She'll gently remind you when it's time for scratches, cuddles, and fusses! Height‑Seeking Behaviour When Zoe is feeling anxious or excited, she may jump up. This height‑seeking behaviour is often her way of asking for reassurance. Good news: It's easy to guide her! Rewarding her for keeping all 4 paws on the ground-with treats, praise, or gentle petting -helps reinforce calm behaviour. Background Zoe has recently been spending long periods alone, which is new for her. Previously, she was used to having people around, so she became a bit of an escape artist trying to find her family. She'll do best in a home where she gets regular company, involvement in family life, and predictable routines to help her feel secure. In the Shelter Zoe settles beautifully in her pen: * Calm & quiet * Not destructive * Fully toilet trained * Just wants to feel loved and safe She's patiently waiting for her happily‑ever‑after family who sees how special she truly is.
