Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Rosie is the life of the party, the queen of cuddles, and quite possibly convinced she's actually a dog!
This young lady is full of confidence, charm, and personality. Whether she's racing around the yard doing zoomies, soaking up full-body rubs, or making sure she's the centre of attention, Rosie approaches every day with enthusiasm and joy. As the bigger and bolder of the pair, she's naturally taken on the role of big sister... although Boris might argue it's more of a sibling rivalry where Rosie insists on stealing the spotlight!
Like all pigs, Rosie is incredibly intelligent, social, and loves spending time with her people. She's still young and has plenty of growing, learning, and adventures ahead of her. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's guaranteed to make you smile every day, Rosie may be the perfect addition to your family.
Rosie arrived at the shelter with her brother, Boris. We'd love to see these two find a forever home together, as they enjoy each other's company and companionship, but it's not a requirement. The most important thing is finding each of them a loving home where they can thrive.
Please note: Pig ownership requirements can vary between local council areas. We encourage potential adopters to check their local council regulations regarding pig ownership, property size requirements, and any applicable permits before submitting an adoption application.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
