Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Boris may have started out as the shy guy, but these days he's proving he can be every bit as playful as his sister.
When Boris first arrived, he was a little reserved and preferred to take life at his own pace. Thankfully, we discovered the fastest way to his heart... apples! Lots and lots of apples. Armed with a steady supply of his favourite treats and plenty of patience, Boris has blossomed into a confident, affectionate young pig with a cheeky side that's becoming more noticeable by the day.
While he may let Rosie take centre stage, Boris is quietly winning hearts of his own. He loves exploring, enjoys spending time with people he trusts, and is growing more playful and outgoing every day. Being a young pig, he still has plenty of learning and growing ahead of him, making this a wonderful opportunity to build a lifelong bond.
Boris came into care with his sister Rosie, and ideally we'd love to see them adopted together so they can continue their adventures side by side. However, this isn't essential, and we'd be equally happy to see Boris find a loving home of his own where he can continue to build his confidence and be spoiled with plenty of apples and affection.
Please note: Pig ownership requirements can vary between local council areas. We encourage potential adopters to check their local council regulations regarding pig ownership, property size requirements, and any applicable permits before submitting an adoption application.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
