Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

👑 Meet Princess! This sweet, graceful kitty is looking for a patient, quiet home with an adopter who understands she will be timid at first. Princess can get overwhelmed by loud noises and big spaces, often hiding until tempted out with roast chicken or treat paste. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly smoochy and loves gentle pats—just be sure to let her lead the interaction and give her plenty of space to move away. Princess is best suited for a home with teenagers or older kids who understand cat body language. Because she is FIV positive, she can only live with other FIV cats (with slow introductions), though she may adjust to a calm, social dog under close supervision. If you have a gentle heart and a peaceful home, Princess is ready to slowly become your loyal companion!
