Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

BONDED PAIR - Must be adopted with my friend Shilo!
Meet Rosa, a stunning and social young adult cat with a gentle, timid nature. Initially nervous and shy, Rosa has made great progress thanks to our dedicated behavior team. She has found a special feline friend in Shilo, and we hope they can be adopted together, as their bond is strong and meaningful.
Rosa requires a calm, patient adopter who understands her shy personality. Introduce her gradually into a new home, starting in a small, quiet launch room, allowing her ample time to settle before exploring the rest of the house. Large open spaces can be overwhelming for her, so providing plenty of safe spots—such as cardboard boxes, cat igloos, and access to shelves or dressers—will help her feel secure.
She enjoys gentle affection but also values her independence. Rosa can be somewhat picky with her food, but she gains confidence when Shilo is nearby. We recommend teens who can read basic cat body language and give Rosa space when needed. With patience and understanding, Rosa will blossom into a loving companion. Come and meet her and her beloved mate Shilo soon!
