Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi! I'm Bill, a young dachshund with a heart full of love! I might be a bit shy when we first meet but give me a little time and I'll be your cuddly companion, snuggling up next to you. I'm still learning to be brave, I've already come a long way in the short time I've been at the shelter, so my new owner will need to be gentle and patient with me whilst they continue my socialisation. I'm a little intimidated of the bigger doggies here as I'm only a small guy, but I do enjoy the company of other Dachshunds so I wouldn't mind going to a home with another small dog! Older kids would also be preferred whilst I'm still building my confidence. When I'm comfortable, I can become quite playful and love to run around! I am also very sweet and affectionate when I warm up to people. So, if you're looking for a sweet gentle little man then come meet me today!
