Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Cosmo, an active and energetic Border Collie just 11 months old. Cosmo has come from a family environment but one that wasn't ideal for a smart, active breed. Consequently he's still learning to develop his manners and learn his social cues. He lived with another dog in his previous home but they weren't the best of pals so it'll probably be best to adopt Cosmo as your one and only. Because of Cosmo's 'energiser bunny' status he'll need good fencing and ones that are secure from digging. Because of his youth, Cosmo has great potential but he'll need a patient and understanding family who'll know the importance of engaging and training a highly intelligent energetic breed requiring time and energy to set him up for success. If you have a property that can engage Cosmo in a structured job, all the better. He loves to be useful and contribute. But at the very least he'll need 1-2 hours of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Cosmo will make an ideal member of a like minded high energy family.
