Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Jude!
Jude is a big, strong girl with a fun-loving personality who is looking for a home that can continue building on her manners and training. She is an affectionate dog who tries her best but can become a little overexcited at times, so she will benefit from adopters who can provide clear boundaries, consistency and positive reinforcement.
Jude loves enrichment activities and enjoys engaging her brain. She is particularly fond of squeaky toys and happily participates in enrichment games and activities. Providing regular mental stimulation alongside her daily exercise will help keep her happy and fulfilled.
One area Jude will need ongoing support with is her lead manners, as she can pull quite strongly when walking. Her new family should be prepared to continue her loose-lead training, and we recommend the use of a well-fitted harness to assist with management while she learns.
Due to her size, strength and occasional excitement, she would be best suited to a home with older children who can comfortably interact with a large dog.
Jude is not suited to a home with cats, as she showed too much interest in them during her assessments.
When it comes to other dogs, Jude can be selective with her canine friends and has shown a preference for female dogs over males. She may do best as the only dog in the home or with a suitable female canine companion following a successful meet and greet.
