Animal is injured, sick or neglected and requires attention.

Handsome Tyson was just one of the lucky doggos that found a loving new family thanks to our Clear the Shelters adoption promotion in February 2019.

From February 22 – 24, all adoption fees were reduced on RSPCA animals available to adopt right across Australia! Tyson was one of the 943 lucky pets to find a second chance in Queensland and we couldn’t be happier for him.

Adopted on the very first day of Clear the Shelters, Tyson struck gold!

By Monday his new fur-parent Ryan sent us an adorable update of Tyson’s adventures and said, “Tyson settled in so quick, loving walks to the park. Friendliest dog :) One ear up one ear down is his signature move.”

Being just two years old, Tyson had a rough start before coming into RSPCA care. Sadly his previous owner couldn’t afford future vet fees when Tyson injured himself last year, so he was surrendered for a second chance at a new life.

Tyson had corrective surgery for his old injury and after he recovered, was able to get ready for adoption!

It wasn’t long before Tyson found a new home, but it wasn’t meant to be. Sadly this youngster was a bit too excitable for the family that adopted him, so he was brought back in for another chance to find love.

As luck would have it, Tyson found Ryan at Clear the Shelters and hasn’t looked back. He certainly seems to be loving his new forever life with squeaky ball in tow…

If you’d like to offer a pet in need a loving home, why not adopt a pet from the RSPCA or consider becoming a foster parent to an animal in need?
