RSPCA Queensland is proud to once again be part of this much-loved animal care docuseries, giving viewers a front-row seat to the incredible, real-life work that happens every day behind the scenes.

Following the success of its first two seasons, which aired in primetime on Channel 9 and are now streaming on Netflix ANZ, the series continues to grow its audience both nationally and internationally. Known overseas as Operation: Pet Rescue, the program has also been broadcast in the United States and United Kingdom, highlighting the universal connection people share with animals and the importance of animal welfare work.

Season 3 will centre on RSPCA Queensland’s Wacol Campus alongside Queensland Veterinary Service’s Pet Emergency Hospital at North Lakes. Together, providing a comprehensive view of the animal welfare journey, from rescue and rehabilitation through to emergency treatment and rehoming.

Expect the unexpected with inspiring animal stories in Season 3! From vulnerable litters of kittens requiring intensive care, to big dogs with big personalities waiting for their second chance, the series captures both the everyday and the extraordinary. This season will also feature more unusual patients, including ducks and chickens, as well as complex RSPCA Animal Rescues, Each story highlights not only the resilience of the animals, but also the dedication and expertise of those working tirelessly behind the scenes to support them.

The series continues to shine a light on the collective efforts of RSPCA Queensland staff and volunteers, whose work supports more than 42,000 animals each year. From RSPCA Inspectors responding to animal welfare concerns, to veterinary teams providing critical treatment, and foster carers offering safe and supportive environments, the program presents a heartwarming view of the charity’s impact across the state.

Context Media Managing Director and Executive Producer Peter Jenetsky said, “We’re delighted to be back in Queensland working with RSPCA Queensland and QVS. For the Love of Pets has connected strongly with audiences here and internationally, and Season 3 gives us access to even more compelling, character-led stories from the frontline of animal care.”

As a predominantly community-funded organisation, RSPCA Queensland relies on the ongoing support of the public to continue its lifesaving work. The series not only highlights the challenges faced in animal welfare, but also celebrates the positive outcomes made possible through community support, compassion and commitment.

Production on Season 3 is currently in progress but be sure catch up on previous seasons and keep an eye out for updates as Season 3 gets ready to launch across Australian television screens.
