RSPCA Op Shops Qld Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Gift Card means an RSPCA Op Shops Qld physical gift card.

Remaining Balance means the unused value remaining on a Gift Card.

Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise or donations only at participating RSPCA Op Shops Qld retail stores located within Queensland, Australia. Gift Cards are not valid for online purchases or use outside Queensland.

All Gift Cards are issued and redeemable in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase. Any unused balance remaining after the expiry date will not be refunded, credited or reinstated.

Gift Cards may be used for full or partial payment of purchases or donations. Any Remaining Balance will be stored on the Gift Card for future use until the expiry date.

No cash change will be given.

Remaining Balances cannot be transferred to another card or account.

Gift Cards may be used to make voluntary donations to RSPCA Queensland in-store. Donations made using a Gift Card are not considered tax-deductible gifts under Australian taxation law, as they are not considered gifts made using the donor’s own money for the purposes of Australian taxation law. No tax receipt will be issued for donations made using a Gift Card.

Gift Cards:

• cannot be used to purchase other gift cards; and
• cannot be used for third-party services; and
• cannot be used, in whole or in part, to pay for animal adoption fees.

Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.

Gift Cards are single-use and cannot be reloaded with additional value.

Gift Cards should be treated like cash. Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed cards will not be replaced or refunded.

RSPCA Op Shops Qld accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards.

Gift Cards may be used to purchase all items available in-store, including retail, sale and promotional items, or to make a donation in accordance with clause 6, subject to availability, but cannot be used, in whole or in part, to pay for animal adoption fees.

Gift Cards may not be redeemable during periods of system outages, technical failures or other circumstances beyond RSPCA Op Shops Qld’s control.

To the extent permitted by law, RSPCA Op Shops Qld is not liable for any loss, damage or inability to use a Gift Card, including where a Gift Card is declined, cannot be redeemed, or is affected by system errors or outages.
