Kash's Story

đŸŸ Toy Lover Seeking a Home of His Own

Kash is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky boy with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Always ready for fun, this handsome lad will bring plenty of laughter and joy to his forever family.

His absolute favourite thing in the world? Toys! Especially soft squeaky toys. Kash loves carrying them around, playing keep-away, and happily entertaining himself for ages. He's also a big foodie, which makes him easy to motivate and a fantastic candidate for ongoing training.

Kash is still working on some of the basics, including lead manners, so he's looking for a family who will enjoy helping him learn and grow. As an enthusiastic boy, he can be a little bouncy when he's excited, so he'd be best suited to a home with older or children who are comfortable around larger dogs.

While Kash adores people and loves being part of the action, he'd prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention for himself. He'll also need secure, solid fencing to help him settle comfortably into home life.

If you're searching for a fun-loving best friend who loves toys, treats, and spending time with his people, Kash could be the perfect addition to your family. â€ïžđŸ¶

What should I feed my dog?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my dog?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
