Comet's Story

🐾 Meet Comet 🐾

Have you ever seen a puppy with paws so big they look like paddles? πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ Meet Comet, a stunning 10-week-old German Shepherd x Bull Arab boy who's already hinting at the big, handsome dog he's destined to become! πŸ’™

With his sleek black coat πŸ–€, movie-star good looks 🎬✨, and soulful eyes that could melt even the toughest heart, Comet turns heads wherever he goes. But don't let the handsome face fool you, this boy has plenty of brains to match his beauty! 🧠⭐

Comet is looking for a family who is excited to help guide him as he learns how the human world works. 🌏🐾 He's a clever young lad who will thrive with positive training, clear boundaries, and plenty of opportunities to put that brilliant brain to work. Whether it's learning new tricks, mastering his manners, or simply discovering how to be the very best canine citizen, Comet is ready to learn alongside his people. πŸŽ“πŸΆ

When he's not busy investigating the world, Comet is all about the cuddles. πŸ₯° This affectionate youngster absolutely loves a good smooch πŸ’‹ and would happily curl up in your lap for a snooze, despite the fact that his future size suggests lap-dog status may not be sustainable! πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

As a growing puppy, Comet will need all the usual puppy essentials: 🦴 Plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep busy little teeth occupied

🎾 Fun play sessions to burn energy and build confidence

πŸ• Positive social experiences with friendly dogs

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Opportunities to meet a variety of people

πŸš— Adventures to different places and environments

⭐ Ongoing training to help him grow into a well-mannered adult

Comet isn't just looking for a home. He's looking for a team. πŸ€πŸ’™ A family who will include him in life's adventures, celebrate his achievements, support him as he grows, and help him become a valued member of the household.

In return, you'll gain a loyal best mate, a professional cuddle enthusiast, and a devoted companion who'll be by your side through thick and thin. 🐾❀️

If you're ready to invest the time, love, guidance, and commitment a smart, large-breed puppy deserves, Comet is ready to launch straight into your heart. πŸŒ πŸΆπŸ’™

Come meet Comet and see if this beautiful boy is the missing piece of your family! 🏑✨🐾

What should I feed my puppy?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my puppy?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
