Dallas's Story

Meet Dallas! 🐾💛

Dallas is a lovable little puppy with a gentle nature, a playful spirit, and a talent for making people smile. From the moment he wakes up, he's ready to take on the day, whether that means playing with his toys, spending time with his siblings, or seeing what adventures await.

This handsome boy loves being around people and is looking for a family who will make him part of all the fun. Whether it's a family walk, a trip to the park, backyard games, or simply relaxing together at home, Dallas is happiest when he's included.

Like any growing puppy, Dallas is still learning about the world around him and would benefit from continued training. Puppy school would be a wonderful way for him to build confidence, learn good manners, and develop into the fantastic companion he's destined to be.

Dallas has enjoyed socialising with his siblings and would be happy to meet any dogs already living in his future home. He could suit a wide variety of families and would love the chance to meet everyone before heading off to start his new life.

If you're searching for a puppy who is equal parts playful, affectionate, and eager to be your best friend, Dallas could be the perfect match. He's ready to fill his forever home with puppy kisses, wagging tails, and a lifetime of happy memories. 🐶✨💕

What should I feed my puppy?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my puppy?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
