Banjo's Story

Meet Banjo! 🐾💙

Banjo is a happy little puppy with a tail that never seems to stop wagging! Full of curiosity and charm, he's always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. Whether he's tossing his toys around, playing with his siblings, or exploring something new, Banjo approaches life with enthusiasm and a joyful spirit.

Like any young puppy, Banjo loves being part of the action. He'd be thrilled to join his family for walks, backyard games, weekend outings, or simply relaxing together at home. For Banjo, the best place to be is right alongside his people.

When playtime is over, Banjo is more than happy to settle in for cuddles and enjoy some well-deserved affection. He's a sweet-natured boy who loves attention and is sure to bring plenty of smiles to his future family.

Banjo is still learning about the world and would benefit from continued training and puppy school. With positive guidance and encouragement, he'll grow into a wonderful companion and loyal best friend.

Banjo has enjoyed spending time with his siblings and has a social nature, so he'd love to meet any dogs already living in his new home. He'd also like to meet the whole family before heading off to start his next big adventure.

If you're looking for a fun-loving puppy with a playful personality, a heart full of love, and plenty of puppy kisses to share, Banjo could be the perfect addition to your family. 🐶💕✨

What should I feed my puppy?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my puppy?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
