Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Just like a line of dominoes, Domino may need a little help getting started, but once he gains confidence, you'll see his wonderful personality begin to fall into place.
This handsome boy is a gentle and sensitive soul who can be quite shy in new environments. Shelter life can be a big and overwhelming place, so Domino is searching for a calm, understanding home where he can take things at his own pace and learn that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
Every cat moves at their own pace, and his adopters should be guided by his confidence levels, allowing him to explore the home when he feels ready rather than encouraging him too quickly. Patience will be key, but watching Domino grow in confidence will be incredibly rewarding.
Because of his shy nature, Domino would benefit from adopters who have some experience with cats and can understand feline body language and fearful behaviours. He is looking for a quieter home with older children who can respect his space and help him feel safe while he settles in.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
