Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi, I’m Sunshine! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around my people and being part of the family.
I’m still learning my manners and don’t know any cues just yet, but the good news is that I’m VERY food motivated! With some tasty treats, patience and consistency, I’m ready to learn all about basic cues, impulse control and keeping all four paws on the ground.
If you’re looking for a playmate, I’m your girl! I’m completely ball-obsessed and would love regular, structured playtime alongside daily mental enrichment to keep my clever brain busy. Once playtime is over, I’ll appreciate having a cosy crate or den of my own where I can relax and unwind.
I’m also a total water baby and love splashing around in water and digging in calm shells!
I’d be best suited to a home with teenagers who understand dog body language and are keen to be involved in my training. If you have another dog at home, I’d be happiest with a calm, tolerant male dog who can handle my enthusiastic, sometimes pushy play style. All teenage family members and resident dogs will need to meet me at the shelter before adoption.
If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate girl who will bring plenty of sunshine into your life, I might just be your perfect match!
