Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Coco is an affectionate, snuggly girl who absolutely loves being around people, frequently leaning into you for pats, love, and endless attention. This smart and people-oriented pup knows how to "sit" and "shake," and while she can occasionally choose to ignore you if someone else is offering affection, she is incredibly food-motivated and will master new cues quickly with positive, high-value reward training.
Coco would thrive with a family that includes her on all of life's indoor and outdoor adventures, though she also possesses a wonderful independent streak and loves to explore and sniff her surroundings without ever straying too far from her humans. She can be a bit enthusiastic and jump up when greeting people, so ongoing training for basic manners will be highly beneficial, and feeding her meals from enrichment items will keep her sharp mind beautifully occupied. While she is currently a bit hesitant with toys, her playful side is sure to blossom once she settles into her new environment; she is open to the right family pending a meet-and-greet at the time of adoption, and she may do well with a tolerant, social dog friend who won't mind her slightly rude, pushy greeting style of putting her paws on their face.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
