Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

After pouring her heart into raising her single bub as an exceptionally attentive mother, Sable is officially ready to retire from parenting and settle into a peaceful home. She is now looking to trade the chaotic energy of raising children for a quiet, mature household where she can finally put her paws up.
Sable thrives in a calm environment and is best suited to a calm home where her days can consist of long naps in the sun, watching the birds, and receiving gentle chin scratches from her favourite humans.
A preferred method of play for Sable is carpet or mat scratching. Note from foster carer is as follows, "I put bathmats down in her room, there are many many many different types of scratching posts, both upright and flat ones. She seems to prefer fabric/mats. She likes to dig them up to find 'interesting' things or shadows under them".
If you're looking for a gentle, mature companion who asks for little more than peace, comfort, and the occasional investigative mat inspection, Sable may just be the perfect addition to your home
