Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie! 🐾

Looking for a loving companion who wants to be part of every moment of family life? Bonnie might just be your perfect match!

This sweet and affectionate girl is happiest when she's close to her people. Whether she's soaking up belly rubs, snuggling on your lap, or simply following you around the house, Bonnie loves being included and sharing her days with her family. Her gentle nature and loving personality make her a joy to be around.

Bonnie enjoys playing with toys and enthusiastically joins in all her enrichment activities. She's also a pleasure to walk, strolling beautifully on lead and would love a home that can provide her with daily walks, exercise, and plenty of opportunities to explore the world by your side.

When it comes to other dogs, Bonnie is social, friendly, and eager to please. She could happily share her home with either a male or female canine companion, pending a successful meet and greet.

A secure yard is essential for Bonnie, but what she really dreams of is a family who will welcome her into their hearts and daily adventures. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend who will reward you with endless love and cuddles, Bonnie is ready to meet you! 💕🐶

What should I feed my dog?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my dog?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
