Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

CJ is a sweet and sensitive girl searching for a calm, loving home where she can build confidence at her own pace. While the world can feel a little overwhelming to her, with patience, gentle guidance, and understanding, she will thrive.
She would suit a home with older children aged 8+ and adopters who have some dog experience and can recognise and support fearful behaviours. CCJ would love to be included indoors with her family and have a safe space, such as a crate or bed, to retreat to when needed.
She enjoys enrichment activities and will benefit from food puzzles, Kongs, and interactive toys to keep her mind busy when left alone. Quiet walking areas are recommended, and introductions to new people should be slow and positive.
CJ may suit a home with another calm, social dog and requires secure fencing of at least 5 feet. Untested with cats.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
