Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Chicken!
Chicken is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She can be quite reserved when meeting new people and may take a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment, but with patience and understanding, she will gradually warm up and show her lovely personality.
A true homebody, Chicken is not an active cat and much prefers the finer things in life, like long naps and basking in a sunny spot. If you're looking for a calm companion who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, Chicken could be the perfect match.
Chicken has always been an indoor-only cat and has lived in an adults-only home by herself. Because she can be easily overwhelmed, she would be best suited to a quiet household without young children. When visitors come around, Chicken prefers to retreat to a safe hiding spot until things are calm again.
When it comes to mealtime, Chicken is a big fan of dry food and has a unique preference for wet food, happily licking up all the gravy while leaving the meat behind!
If you have a peaceful home and are willing to give her the time she needs to settle in, Chicken will make a wonderful, low-maintenance companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life
