Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Cherry
Cherry is a sweet and sensitive girl who has blossomed during her time in care. Although she can be a little timid in new environments and may take some time to settle, once she feels safe she becomes a smoochy, affectionate companion who loves gentle cuddles and having a chat with her favourite people.
Cherry would thrive in a calm, patient home that can give her the time and understanding she needs to build confidence. She will do best starting in a small launch room before gradually being introduced to the rest of the house, with plenty of hiding spots, scratching posts, cat trees, and elevated perches available to help her feel secure.
Surrendered alongside several other cats, Cherry may benefit from a confident feline friend and could also suit a home with a calm, social dog if introductions are managed carefully. Older children or teenagers who can respect her boundaries would be a great match.
Cherry loves treat paste, roast chicken, gentle affection, and playtime. She has also shown good litter tray habits when provided with appropriate litter and tray set-ups. With a little patience, Cherry will reward her new family with plenty of love, sweet conversations, and companionship.
