Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Desiel is a sweet, affectionate boy with a big heart and so much love to give. He thrives on human companionship and would love nothing more than to be welcomed indoors as a true member of the family, joining in on daily activities and spending quality time with his people.
This handsome boy has a playful side and absolutely adores his squeaky and soft toys. Whether he's entertaining himself or enjoying a game with his humans, Desiel is always ready for some fun. He's also a big foodie, making enrichment activities and food-based games a great way to keep his clever mind engaged and satisfied.
Desiel has shown some interest in using a crate and may benefit from having one in his new home as a safe, comfortable space where he can relax and unwind when needed. As he settles in, he'll need gentle, positive guidance to help build his confidence with handling and harnessing, as he can sometimes be a little unsure of close handling and may be slightly head shy. With patience, understanding, and trust, Desiel is sure to continue blossoming.
Desiel has shown social interest in other dogs and enjoyed meeting a male dog while in care. He can be a little enthusiastic and may need help refining his doggy manners, so any resident dogs will need to meet him prior to adoption to ensure a good match.
If you're looking for a loving companion who will reward your patience with loyalty, affection, and plenty of playful moments, Desiel could be the perfect addition to your family.
