Cinder

Cinder's Story

Cinder is a sweet, gentle and affectionate girl who's searching for a family that will welcome her as a true member of the household. Having previously lived primarily outdoors, Cinder is ready to enjoy the comforts of indoor living and would love a home where she can spend plenty of time with her people.

This clever girl is eager to please and already knows cues such as sit and wait. She enjoys learning and would thrive with a family committed to continuing her training. Cinder especially loves using her nose, so scent games and enrichment activities would be right up her alley!

An active dog at heart, Cinder enjoys running, playing, and chasing frisbees. She'll need a home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and fulfilled. Mealtimes are also a highlight of her day, and she has been loving enrichment feeders such as Kongs, snuffle mats, wobblers and licki mats while in our care.

Cinder will need a secure home with solid 6-foot fencing and is not suited to properties with livestock. She would likely benefit from having a crate or quiet indoor space where she can relax and unwind when needed, particularly given her history of escaping when left outside.

While Cinder has previously lived with both another dog, she can be a little unsure when meeting new canine friends and will need to meet any canine companions prior to adoption.

Cinder is open to the right family and would especially love a home where someone is around more often than not. In return, you'll gain a loyal, loving companion who is ready to leave shelter life behind and start her next adventure with you.
