Lilith's Story

Lilith is a lovely girl with a sturdy build, a gentle nature, and a heart full of devotion. She is the kind of dog who greets you at the door with a wagging tail and a happy sigh, ready to share her affection and brighten your day.

People-friendly and calm, Lilith enjoys attention and companionship but is equally happy relaxing beside you after a nice walk. She thrives on routine and would love a home where her days are predictable and filled with the simple things she enjoys: a little playtime, a quiet nap, and plenty of cuddles.

Lilith appears to have no known issues around children, making her a great fit for families or individuals looking for a friendly, family-oriented companion. Her training needs are minimal, and she responds well to gentle guidance and simple commands. Like a seasoned senior dog who knows the ropes, she is eager to please and easy to have around.

She also seems social with other dogs, showing curiosity without being overly pushy or demanding. Her relaxed and respectful nature makes her a pleasure to spend time with.

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and low-maintenance best friend who will happily share life's quiet moments and adventures alike, Lilith could be the perfect match.

What should I feed my dog?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my dog?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
