Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Marlie – Gentle, Loving, and Ready for Her Forever Home
Marlie is a beautiful Staghound with a sweet, gentle nature and a heart full of love. Affectionate and people-oriented, she thrives on companionship and would love a home where she can be included in daily life and spend plenty of quality time with her family.
She is suitable for families with children of all ages and may be a great match for first-time dog owners, although training classes are recommended to help her settle into her new home and build a strong bond with her adopters.
Marlie would suit an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, but as she is very people-focused, she enjoys being part of family life and spending time with her people. She would benefit from regular enrichment and activities to keep both her mind and body engaged.
Marlie may be able to live with another dog following a successful meet and greet. She has not been tested with cats, but slow, controlled introductions may help her adjust. For her safety, she will require secure fencing of at least 5 feet.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion to share life's adventures and quiet moments, Marlie could be the perfect addition to your family.
