Hulk's Story

Meet Hulk! Hulk is an energetic, enthusiastic boy who 's looking for the right home for him. He’s the kind of dog who meets life head‑on, and with the right guidance, all that intensity can be shaped into something wonderful. Hulk will thrive with an adopter who’s ready to work on 4‑paws training and keep his mind busy through brain games, helping him learn how to slow down, think, and make good choices.

While in care, Hulk has shown some kennel stress, so a home that can offer routine, structure, and plenty of positive outlets will make a huge difference for him. He absolutely loves food‑based enrichment — licky mats, pigs’ ears, and other tasty activities help him relax and focus, and they’ll be great tools for his transition into a new environment.

Once Hulk has the chance to decompress and channel his energy into learning, he becomes a fun, affectionate companion who just wants to engage with his people. With patience, consistency, and a willingness to guide him, Hulk will grow into the best version of himself — a bright, eager dog who’s ready to bond deeply and enjoy life with his new family.

What should I feed my dog?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my dog?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
