Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Cheese! Cheese is a sweet, sensitive kitten who needs a calm, thoughtful start in her new home. She can become overwhelmed in new environments but once she feels safe, her confidence grows, and her true personality begins to shine.
She loves to play with wand toys, zoom with her feline friends and enjoy some gentle pats from her humans!
Cheese will do best with a patient, understanding adopter who recognises that she may be timid at first and will need time before she fully relaxes. She would be best suited to a home with teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and know when to give her space are recommended.
She may also benefit from going home with another calm, social kitten or cat - as she came in as a stray with her sister and likely missed out on some early socialisation. With the right setup and gentle guidance, Cheese will grow into a loving, confident companion.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
