Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

The One‑of‑a‑Kind Hairy Gentleman Behold... JJ. A magnificent, shaggy, soulful Mastiff mix with the kind of presence that makes you stop mid‑sentence and go, "Oh. Wow." His photo does half the talking - but it's only fair we let you in on the essentials of loving this extraordinary boy.
He warms to kind and patient people quickly, especially if they're willing to throw a ball or take him on one of his beloved plodding walks. Good Manners & A Heart of Gold JJ is a gentleman indoors. He's smart, often low‑key, and will happily snooze the day away. On lead? A dream. He loves to wander, sniff, explore, and take in the world at his own thoughtful pace. His wish list includes daily walks, games of fetch, a paddling pool of his very own, humans who understand his gentle, quirky, loyal soul. Meet and greet is a must with all family members including any resident doggies to ensure all parties are happy. Once he lets you into his circle, he loves deeply, loyally, and wholeheartedly. Butt scratches? One of his absolute favourite pastimes. JJ is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, so he's not ready to head home just yet. If you think you might be his person... he's waiting!
