Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Bala, the kind of cat who seems to glide through life with confidence and charm. Smooth, chatty and wonderfully outgoing, Bala loves being part of the action and will happily let you know when he’s ready for attention—which, truthfully, is most of the time. He adores pats and affection, enjoys a great play session, and has a real soft spot for scratchers, cat towers and tasty purée treats. Loyal and loving by nature, Bala is the sort of companion who quickly becomes part of the family and will happily share life’s quiet moments as well as the fun ones.
Bala may be suitable for a multi-cat home with slow, thoughtful introductions, however it’s important to note that he is FIV positive. Because of this, any existing cats in the home must also be FIV positive, or have up‑to‑date FIV vaccinations (with proof required prior to adoption). Bala must be an indoor-only cat, or live in a home with a fully secure outdoor enclosure such as a Catmax system, and all windows must have secure screens to prevent accidental escapes.
With the right setup and a home ready to give him love, enrichment and security, Bala will repay you with endless affection, conversation and companionship—and he’s more than ready to start his next chapter.
