Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hello there, my name is Dawn. I am an older lady at 9 years old but being a cat I still have many good years left in me! I was an RSPCA kitten many moons ago, sadly my adopter had to surrender me back with my brother Ajax as their children developed severe allergies. We were very much loved members of the family. I am an affectionate and social girl, who adapts well to my surroundings and gets along well with other cats, nothing much phases me really. I love my food, but who doesn't? I am looking for someone who could give me lots of love and attention. I love being patted, scratched under the chin and fussed over. I often sit on the volunteer's laps and cuddle up to them, because I love getting up close and personal with you. I would love to be adopted with Ajax but we can be seperated if you aren't in the position for 2 cats. I could go to most home environments as long as existing cats are introduced appropriately and any kiddies are calm and polite, I would be happy anywhere. Are you the one? Can you give me love and attention? If this sounds like you, then come and see me today.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
