In late 2017, Michelle and her partner adopted Boof from the Wacol RSPCA Shelter.

As Boof was an office foster dog in the Marketing Department, he holds a special place in our heart. He was a big bubbly boy with bucket loads of personality and whilst we were excited for him to find his forever home, we were a little sad we had to say goodbye.

A year on from being adopted, Boof has come so far! He has made doggy friends, is so well behaved with his food, has a toy he loves to play with and loves meeting new people on walks.

Boof’s new forever family says:

“Adopting him has made our lives so much happier, he is such a boofhead (the name is perfect) and while sometimes he can be a bit skittish, or easily scared by something unexpected like a champagne cork going off or a car backfiring, he calms down quickly and continues on with no problems. He really has a wonderful personality and watching it come through over the last year has been great and so rewarding. I've also never met a dog who loves cheese as much as him!”

Boof has a few allergies, but with some veterinary advice and amazing parents, Boof is living a happy and healthy life.

As Michelle says, “Anything we can do to give him the best quality of life, we have definitely looked into! We are so glad to have him. We love him to bits here and I hope we are able to rescue him a brother or sister someday soon, to complete the family!”

Thank you so much to Michelle and her family for adopting Boof!
