We're excited to announce that our very first Pop Up Adoption event held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 17th January was a huge success! Nearly 10,000 people walked through the doors and 270 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens found their fur-ever home.
This is a first for animal welfare in Australia to adopt 270 animals at the one location in one day! We can't thank the community enough for opening their hearts and their homes to the beautiful animals who attended on the day.
We'd also like to thank the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hill's Pet Nutrition Australia, and all of our other sponsors who helped to make the day such a success.
To all of our volunteers and staff who dedicated their Saturday to helping these animals find a home - thank you. Without your support, this life changing event wouldn't have been possible.
