The Petbarn Foundation, known for its dedication to pet welfare, will donate $100,000 to RSPCA Queensland's Pets in Crisis program in an announcement made today at the Greencross Pet Wellness Company annual conference held on the Gold Coast.

This remarkable donation is not only a testament to their commitment to animal welfare, but also a lifeline for those fleeing domestic violence.

This significant contribution ensures that individuals and families leaving abusive situations can keep their beloved pets safe, eliminating one of the many obstacles that may prevent victims from seeking help. Often, individuals facing domestic violence delay leaving because they fear for their pets' safety.

The Petbarn Foundation's donation to RSPCA QLD's Pets in Crisis program is making a significant difference in the lives of domestic violence survivors. By providing a safe haven for their pets, this initiative helps ensure the well-being and emotional support these animals offer, ultimately assisting the healing process.

The support from Petbarn Foundation is not only protecting pets, but also empowering victims to break free from abusive situations, fostering resilience and hope.

In the past 12 months RSPCA QLD's Pets in Crisis program, supported by the Petbarn Foundation has provided 7,603 days of shelter and foster care emergency boarding, for 109 people and 183 pets caught in domestic and family violence situations.
