RSPCA Queensland is calling for a range of pet care donations to help stock community centres in preparation for future severe weather events.

“If you’d like to help, you can donate pet care essentials to your nearest RSPCA.

“We’ll package up your valuable donations and make sure they get to community centres across the state for when they’re needed next,” says RSPCA spokesperson Emma Lagoon.

Items that can be donated to the RSPCA:

  • Collapsible pet crates
  • Cat litter
  • Tinned food (dog, puppy, cat, kitten)
  • Dry food in sealed bags
  • Pet bedding/blankets
  • Leads/collars with name tag options
  • Bottled water

“We saw many families and their animals displaced this year from severe weather and are hoping to support more people and their pets by ensuring local community centres are stocked with pet supplies.”

To donate any of the above items, visit your nearest RSPCA location.
