Animal is injured, sick or neglected and requires attention.

RSPCA Qld is calling for information regarding an incident where a kitten was thrown from a car on Floral Drive in Caboolture at 18.55 on Thursday January 28th. Video footage shows the brown tabby kitten being thrown from the passenger window onto the side of the road. The car appears to be a black early model Honda CRV or possibly a Hyundai.

“We’re not entirely sure of the make but if anyone has any information we’d urge them to call 1300 ANIMAL,” said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty.

The kitten, which is approximately ten weeks old, has been examined by a vet and is now with a foster carer who has called him Zuma. He will receive a further veterinary assessment tomorrow (Wednesday).
