Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Four little black kittens (Pickles, Cheddar, Onyx and Niko) have arrived at our Shelter looking for loving homes. We are a little worried about how we’re going to tell them apart because they look identical at first glance. It doesn’t take long, however, for their individual personalities to show and, as they adapt to their temporary shelter life, the gang members will transition to happy, playful kittens. This is about Onyx and Niko, who are the two social butterflies of the litter and are described as being gregarious, extroverted and charmers. They want to be all over you getting lots of attention with their little motors going flat out. Their black coats are thick and cuddly soft. Onyx and Niko are available for adoption separately if wished. Please read our very important adoption and care advice:-
** A balanced diet of high-quality wet and dry food plus ample fresh, cool water.
** Indoor lifestyle only, enriched with snuggles, large cat towers, toys and games.
** Best suited to a loving household that would help them thrive.
** Friends would be gentle adults and supervised thoughtful children.
** Onyx or Niko may be able to live with friendly furry pets, however they will need supervision and guidance.
** Providing a temporary “launch room” would be a great idea, as Onyx and Niko are young and tiny.
** Regular visits to the vet would be beneficial.
