Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Ninja, a sensitive and affectionate boy who’s still finding his confidence and looking for a patient, understanding home to help him truly shine. Moving into a new environment may feel a little overwhelming for him at first, so he’ll likely take some time to settle in and show his true personality—but with gentle support and space, his loving nature starts to come through.
Ninja would do best in a home with teens or older children who can read and respect feline body language and understand when he needs a little quiet time. He’s cat-social and would likely enjoy the company of a friendly feline companion, as long as introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
Ninja loves cozy little “igloos” out of his bedding to feel safe—but as he’s settled, he’s shown just how much he enjoys affection and companionship. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, Ninja will bloom into a devoted and loving companion.
