Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi, I'm Kenny!
I might be a little shy when we first meet, but I am gentle, kind, and quietly brave! New environments can feel a bit overwhelming and you'll probably find me tucked away in a cozy hiding spot while I figure things out - but give me a tasty treat and I'll be venturing out for pats and affection in no time.
Once I feel comfortable, I'm a very loving and affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with my people. I do get excited sometimes when I'm getting lots of attention, so I'd do best in a home with older children or teens who can understand my body language and give me breaks when I need them.
I came into care with other cats, so I would likely enjoy sharing my new home with a feline friend with a proper introduction.
Oh and did I mention I'm a big foodie? Treat paste is definitely the way to my heart! If you're looking for a loyal companion full of heart and love, I'm ready to meet you! I promise I'll be worth it.
Love,
Kenny
