Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Zena is a sweet and affectionate girl who is looking for a home that can provide structure and routine. Zena can be a bit worried and nervous in new environments, so we recommend she has someone who is home more often than not to help her with the transition. Zena came into care as a stray, so we have no information about what her life has been like up until now.
Zena loves to sniff when she's on walks, she may enjoy some scent enrichment or long and fun sniffari walks!
Zena is not food motivated and can be a fussy eater; her new family may need to experiment with different types of food to find the one she likes best.
She doesn't seem to be too interested in toys, but may start to show a more playful side once settled in.
Open to the right family, can be a little nervous but very sweet and smoochy once she gets to know you!
Must meet other dogs at time of adoption. Can be worried by other dogs but is able to meet and is quite social once she gets there. Recommend calm social doggy friend who can show her the ropes. Wouldn't do well with a super boisterous dog.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
