Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi there, I’m Zena, a female dog proudly sharing my story. I’m looking for a forever home with someone who keeps a steady daily routine. I’m happiest with average work hours—not left alone for long stretches, but with some time for a comfy nap in between. My lifestyle is moderate: I love gentle walks, sniffing adventures, and a cozy bed. I can benefit from routine and patient guidance. I can be selective about my dog pals; I prefer calm, well-matched companions and I’m not a fan of off-leash dog parks. I do well when introductions are slow and supervised. A little about me: I have a thick, weather-ready coat that loves a cool breeze and a comfy blanket. I’m curious, affectionate, and enjoy quiet cuddles at the end of the day. I may sing a little when I’m excited, which I hope you’ll see as the music of my heart. If you have some breed knowledge or experience with senior dogs and can give me a loving, stable home, I’d be grateful. Could you be my person?
